Instagram has never looked better. Last night, Jay-Z, Nas, Justin Timberlake and Timbaland were photographed together laughing and working in the studio. The “Rat Pack” seems to be back on the grind, exciting fans around the world for potential hits and collaborative performances.
The photo also serves as evidence of a friendly collaboration between two former enemies, Nas and Jay-Z. Both artists, as well as Timberlake, are working on upcoming albums. There will likely be a medley of hip-hop and pop artists on Justin Timberlake’s second album this year, The 20/20 Experience (part 2), due out September 30.
Nas’ twelfth album is expected to arrive within the next year, building off of the success of last year’s Life is Good, which included the hit singles “The Don,” and “Daughters.”Jay-Z who dropped his last solo album four years ago might surprise us with a 2013 release as well. Time will tell where these collaborations end up.
