The kick-felt-round-the-world may end up costing singer Miguel more than he bargained for. E! News is reporting that the "Adorn" crooner might be facing legal action after accidentally kicking a fan during his performance at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards.

Khyati Shah, the audience member who was accidentally whacked by Miguel's leg, is "considering" legal action per attorney, Vip Bhola, who tells E! "that a decision will be made soon on whether to file a lawsuit against Miguel pending Khyati's most recent medical results." Apparently, she has been experiencing "difficulties" as a result of what happened during the performance.

The incident was one of the most talked-about of the annual awards show. During "Adorn" Miguel launched himself over a pit of fans (hoping to clear the crowd and land on the other side of the stage) but instead, he smacked one female fan with his right leg and another with his left.

The consummate professional, Miguel kept the show moving right along. After the performance Miguel took Khyati backstage with him and let his fans know on Twitter that she was not harmed because of his fancy feet. "got caught up in the moment, thank goodness Khyati is okay," he wrote.
