Miguel is not holding his tongue. The "Adorn" singer took to Twitter yesterday to go off on a rant in which, among other things, he claimed that "black people are the most judgmental people in the world." "Im proud of my heritage but honestly, black people are the most judgmental people in the world. Sh--s sad man," he tweeted.
The singer then followed this with, "we've been conditioned, pre-programmed to hate ourselves" and "that's why I appreciate those who choose to think and act for themselves regardless of ethnicity or culture." Miguel himself is half black and half Mexican.
He ended with, "the problem can not be fixed until the problem is recognized. Not everyone is the same thank goodness. And obviously, I love all my fans. Of course EVERYONE is judgemental. I just PERSONALLY believe WE are the most critical of our own"
Miguel recently had Twitter abuzz for another reason. During his performance at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards, the singer accidentally kicked a fan in the head. During "Adorn," Miguel jumped over a pit of fans and mistakenly caught a female fan with his leg. He took to Twitter to share afterwards that she was A-ok. "got caught up in the moment, thank goodness Khyati is okay," he wrote.
