If you’ve ever been to an OutKast concert or a solo Big Boi show, then you know Sir Lucious Left Foot gives his all out there on stage. Unfortunately for Big, his spirited performance on Sunday left him with a pretty serious injury and now the Son of Chico Dusty is on crutches and has to undergo some testing to find out the extent of the damage.
How this will affect his ironically titled Shoes for Running tour is currently unknown, but tonight's show in St. Louis has been cancelled.
"Injured my leg on stage yesterday , headed to the A for some test #TooTurntUp #Turndownforwhat...," Big Boi messaged throughout his social networking sites on Monday (May 27).
"Currently on his headlining Shoes For Running tour , rapper Big Boi of Outkast has injured his leg while performing yesterday forcing him to cancel his St. Louis show today," a rep for the rapper said in a statement issued to RapFix today. "Currently going through testing, Big Boi apologizes to his St. Louis fans for canceling the show."
Big Boi is currently on tour supporting his December LP Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors. The LP was led by the Kelly Rowland-assisted single "Mama Told Me" and includes features from A$AP Rocky, Kid Cudi, T.I., Ludacris and longtime collaborator Killer Mike.
