We're gonna be seeing a lot more of Yeezy in the coming months. After disappearing to Paris for a bit to finish up his 6th album the G.O.O.D. Music CEO is back in the states, previewing his LP, gearing up for an "SNL" performance, and possibly even filming a cameo for the upcoming film "Anchorman 2?"
According to Access Atlanta, Kanye was on set in Woodruff Park Atlanta this week, where the crew was filming a big fight scene and now we're hoping 'Ye is in the midst of the rumble with his nunchucks swinging, but nothing has been confirmed. One fan posted an image on Twitter which seems to show 'Ye sporting a mini fro, hinting that he might end up on the big screen.
Kanye has a good relationship with "Anchorman" star Will Ferrell, whose vocals from the 2007 comedy "Blades of Glory" were spliced into Watch the Throne's monster hit "N----s in Paris" ("We're gonna skate to one song and one song only!")
"Kanye reached out to me and I said, 'Of course,' " Ferrell told MTV News of being featured on the song. "I was completely flattered when they asked if they could sample me into the song ... and when I heard it for the first time, I just started to laugh because it felt so surreal. But I really did like the song."
"I think [something from] 'Step Brothers' would be good [to use in a song]," he added, of other sampling possibilities. "Or the Woody Allen movie I did, 'Melinda and Melinda.' Guess it's too bad that Ye's album will be out before "Anchorman 2" drops, but hopefully these two will cross musical paths again in the future.
