Jay-Z held his first annual Made in America festival in Philadelphia last September with a lineup artfully curated to include performers ranging from Jay Electronica to Passion Pit (not to mention Drake, Pearl Jam, plus Kanye West and G.O.O.D. Music who dropped in for a surprise set) so this year he had to outdo himself. Beyonce and Nine Inch Nails are set to headline, plus we're sure there will be some surprises in store.
Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky,Wiz Khalifa and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis have also been added to the bill, while 2 Chainz will make a return appearance to the festival which runs from August 31 - September 1.
"One of the things on our mind was how do you top it? How do you go into year two and make sure that you're continuing to live up to the ideals of Budweiser Made in America," Paul Chibe, vice president of U.S. marketing at Anheuser-Busch told MTV News in a statement. "Jay really did an amazing job curating the lineup."
Additional performers: Schoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, Public Enemy, Queens of the Stone Age, Haim, Empire of the Sun, Imagine Dragons, Walk the Moon and Phoenix, Deadmau5, Calvin Harris and Wolfgang Gartner, Miguel, Solange.
