Gucci Mane Faces Arrest Warrant For Alleged Assault On Army Soldier

Gucci Mane is in trouble once again. Just when the rap star looked to put all of his legal issues behind him, the Trap God now has a warrant out for his arrest in Atlanta.

An Army solider, who asked to be identified only as James, is claiming that Gucci hit him over the head with a champagne bottle on March 15, while at a night club in ATL, WSBTV reported on Friday.

The solider, who returned home from Afghanistan in October, says that he was out celebrating his birthday when he asked a security guard in the VIP section of Atlanta's Harlem Nights club if he could snap a photo with Gucci. Then without an explanation he says the "Wasted" rapper struck him. "I was speaking to the security guard, and Gucci Mane hit me in the head with a bottle," the solider, who had to get 10 stitches and says he has a concussion, told news reporter Amy Napier Viteri. "And as I looked at him in the shock of why, one of his friends hit me in the side of my face."

Lt. Jeff Cantin of the Atlanta Police Department confirmed with the Viteri that Gucci has an active warrant out for his arrest. "I'm sure he'll want to reach out and contact us," he said.

James is fearful of what Gucci may do next. "That is dangerous because if there was to be any other fan trying to approach him, ain't no telling what else he might do to them," he said. "He could have possibly killed me. I just hope and pray that I recover pretty well because I still want to serve my military career."
