The last time we got a brand new album from A Tribe Called Quest was in the late 90s, and since they disbanded fans have had a chance to see why the group fell out in the documentary “Beats, Rhymes & Life: The Travels of a Tribe Called Quest”, but now there might be a little light at the end of the tunnel.

According to Rolling Stone, during a benefit event in New York this past Tuesday (March 19), Q-Tip revealed his plans to collaborate with fellow Tribe members, Phife Dawg, Ali Shaheed Muhammad, and Jarobi White on his upcoming LP. "I'll probably get them on my album." he said, also sharing that the iconic group’s major focus this time around is touring.

"We love performing. There's a lot of places around the world that we've yet to hit, believe it or not," he said, noting that they’ll play a couple of dates in Europe this summer. "We're probably gonna just concentrate on the rest of the world. We've kind of played America."

His fourth studio LP is titled The Last Zulu and will be released under Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music imprint. The veteran rapper/producer joined the Def Jam family last year.
