French Montana may be having legal troubles with his former manager, who just so happens to be Waka Flocka's mother. According to TMZ, French is being sued by Deb Antney who claims that she entered into a management contract with the rapper in 2010 with her Mizay Entertainment. Antney alleges that French secured business deals behind her back and now she wants him to pay for damages of at least $50,000.

Waka's mother appeared on "RapFix Live" in 2011 with her son. After working with Ludacris and his nonprofit foundation, she founded Mizay Management and helped shaped the careers of Gucci Mane, OJ Da Juiceman, Nicki Minaj, producer Lex Luger and of course, her son Waka.

In 2010, French announced his signing to Mizay Entertainment. As far as management, she got it down pat,” French told XXLMag late in 2010. “She got everything that I need, and I got everything that she need—as far as the East Coast market, the Tri-State. Deb’s never had nobody from the East Coast, besides Nicki [Minaj].” French went on to praise Antney's work ethic. “That woman is like a label by herself,” he said. “She just work. Being the person that I am, that I work just as hard as her, it’ll make it a whole lot easier.”
