Even 16 years after the Notorious B.I.G.’s death, he still lives on beyond his music. Big's son, C.J. Wallace and his daughter, T’yanna Wallace, are set to star in a new animated series called “House of Wallace.”
The two children must fight to keep their father’s legendary Brooklyn recording studio open and out of the hands of corporate takeover. The rapper, born Christopher Wallace, will guide his children in “spirit” through these adversities and we're wondering who might be a good fit to voice the rapper. In the 2009 movie "Notorious" actor Jamal Woolard played the legendary MC, will he be tapped to lend his voice to this role?
The show is being shopped around by Ossian Media and although it hasn’t been picked up yet, a statement reveals that “a few serious networks are in discussion."
The series will feature some of Biggie’s classic hits remade, including “One More Chance" and “Hypnotize” along with appearances from other musical guests who will debut original material. Back in December, the LAPD prematurely leaked Big's autopsy report, later apologizing to the Wallace family.
What are your thoughts on the new animated series?
