Snoop Lion's Reincarnated Album Features Drake, Chris Brown, Busta Rhymes

By Sidney Madden

With his new album Reincarnated, Snoop Lion is gearing up for his reggae debut and he's enlisted some all-star friends to accompany him on his musical metamorphosis.

Snoop has tapped a lineup of stars that includes Drake, Chris Brown, T.I., Busta Rhymes, Akon and Rita Ora to assist on Reincarnated. Along with the array of hip-hop features, dancehall artists Popcaan and Mavado will lend their talents to the album. Diplo and Major Lazer, known for hits like “Pon de Floor,” will be executive producing the album.

In July 2012 Snoop told fans that he had been rechristened by a Rastafarian priest in Jamaica and would turn his musical efforts towards the loving sounds of reggae. His announcement was met with mixed reviews from both the hip-hop and Rastafarian community but he recently got some support from the Marley brothers.

Snoop will release an accompanying documentary "Reincarnated" in select cities on March 15 and his album will be in stores April 23.
