The drive-by shooting that targeted Rick Ross last month is still fresh in the mind of hip-hop fans, as details unfold this morning revealing that French Montana's tour bus was shot at in Philadelphia Thursday night. One fan, who might've been the actual target of the shooting, died later at the hospital.
French wasn't hurt in the incident, but police say that members of his entourage returned fire when the shooting took place.
NBC 10, reports that the shooting happened outside of the Holiday Inn on Penn's Landing when the Bronx rapper and his crew were hanging out with fans following a performance. Cops said that an unnamed 27-year-old man was shot in the stomach and later pronounced dead at the hospital. A second fan was also hit and is in stable condition at Jefferson University Hospital.
No suspects have been named in the case as yet, and the Associated Press reports that French and his crew had no connection to the victims.
