Lil Wayne Doesn't Think Pitbull Is 'Kool' After Diss Track

Super Bowl party sponsored by Lacoste and Mercedes-Benz

Lil Wayne didn't seem to be bothered by some of the backlash from his anti-Miami Heat rant (like that letter from Uncle Luke) but he seems a bit shocked that Pitbull actually took the time to pen a diss track. Or maybe disappointed is a better word? Wayne took to Twitter yesterday to respond to what he heard.

Earlier in the week Pitbull dropped "Welcome to Dade County," aiming at Wayne with lines like, "You talk Miami, if you talkin' heat/ Moral of the story: Don't sh-- where you eat," and surprisingly enough it prompted a response. Wayne kept it simple, only writing, "Dam pit bull bro I thought u was kool."

Pitbull then responded with, "I am cool papo but imagine me shitting on anything new orleans which I was just there for super bowl the big easy I loved it. The world shows me love and vice versa but miami is all I got no disrespect just the truth."

Another friendship lost? In an interview after his All-Star Weekend sound off, Wayne did try to clarify that he meant no offense to the residents of Miami. "I ain't apologetic for being who I am," he said. "I am who I am, and doing what I do, is what I do. As far as the city of Miami, I do wanna apologize for the misunderstanding and whatever has everybody thinking that I have something against the city, because that's totally wrong. These people accepted me with open arms since day one, since I was a Hot Boy. It's just totally sports, this ain't got nothing to do with the city of Miami."
