An Alternative Look At The 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards

Although Rihanna and Chris Brown were all hugs and smiles at this year's Grammy Awards, the 2009 brutal attack that left the pop singer's face bruised four years prior still lives on, sort of.

According to the Huffington Post, the famed 2009 headline seemed to have inspired a similar story line on an upcoming episode of "Law & Order: SVU," although it's not officially about the couple themselves.

In the episode description titled "My Funny Valentine": "A promising singer is brutally attacked by her boyfriend, a popular hip- hop star. ADA Barba works to build a case, but the victim refuses to aid the prosecution and, despite Detective Benson’s (Mariska Hargitay) best efforts, continues to put herself in danger. The case quickly spirals into a media circus, perpetrated by both the defendant and his uncompromising attorney."

The episode will air Wednesday February 29th at 9 pm EST on NBC.

Rihanna recently celebrated her 25th birthday in Hawaii with Chris Brown, sharing intimate photos of the two in each other's arms. The two have been more publicly affectionate since the Barbadian singer admitted their reconciliation in her recent Rolling Stone interview.
