By Chelsey Wilkins

After a very public battle with his record label over support for his music, Kid Cudi has finally set a release date for his highly anticipated third studio album.

The G.O.O.D Music rapper announced early Tuesday morning via Twitter that fans can expect his Indicud LP on April 23rd.

There’s already a lot of hype surrounding Kid Cudi’s new project. He revealed that the album will feature more up-tempo tracks and will have a maximum of 17 songs. Fans can expect to hear collaborations with artists like Kanye West, Pusha T, Jaden Smith and Kendrick Lamar. The project has already birthed the singles “King Wizard” and “Just What I Am” featuring King Chip.

Indicud will be the follow-up to 2010’s Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager.
