Tonight is shaping up to be a big one for Drake. After snagging the Best Rap Album Grammy for Take Care, he released a hilarious visual for his song "Started From The Bottom." In it, Drake shows how far he's come from being a shop clerk to vacationing with scantily-clad ladies in a mansion. The he topped that off by revealing the title of his third album.
Like his "HYFR" video, the Little X-helmed clip keeps it close to Drake's October's Very Own family, with guest appearances from producer 40, friends OB O'Brien and Ryan Silverstein and even Drizzy's mom.
While on the Grammy red carpet, Drake also revealed that he has a title for his new album, Nothing Was The Same. From the sounds of it, the album will be retrospective and likely emo. Fans on Twitter were divided on the title itself. "KINDA UNDERWHELMING AUBREY" said a fan while another threw in " Shoot me now please -__-" Regardless of title, Twitter was overwhelming excited for the new effort from the rapper. "I'm amped for Nothing Was The Same to drop!," tweeted a fan and " Looking forward to it" said another.
Drake wasn't present to give an acceptance speech when he won his first Grammy award ever at the pre-televised event in Los Angeles tonight."I dropped a new video about 20 minutes ago. We won a Grammy for Best Rap Album," the Young Money MC told MTV News correspondent Sway Calloway as he walked the red carpet.
