Rick Ross' First Public Sighting After Shooting Yields No Comment

Rick Ross hasn't made any public appearances since a still-unidentified gunman targeted him in Fort Lauderdale almost two weeks ago. Friends and collaborators like Pusha T and Ace Hood have assured MTV News that the MMG CEO has been spending most of his time in the studio as things settle down, but he was finally spotted out in Los Angeles yesterday.

TMZ, of course, managed to capture footage of Rozay as he strolled to his waiting SUV, flanked by members of his security team. Though the TMZ reporter was ballsy enough to grill Ross about the shooting--even mentioning that 50 Cent thinks the whole thing was staged--the Bawse carried on his own conversation, smoking his cigar and making absolutely no comment.

This week Wale became the first MMG rapper to speak out about the incident, reprimanding those who have been joking about the near fatal encounter. "God forbid something happens to anybody…and everybody was making a joke," he said.“It’s a joke to y’all ‘cause you see somebody on TV everyday. But what if that’s your friend? Cause that’s my friend.”

Earlier Pusha T told MTV News that Ross immediately got back to work. "He good, he's good, if he's sending me records he's good. He's straight," he said.
