Drake's Treating Fans To New Music On Grammy Night

By Carolyn Amurao

The Grammy’s are just around the corner. For most of us, this night means sitting on the couch, shouting winner predictions at the TV and watching artists like Alicia Keys, Frank Ocean and Justin Timberlake (all of whom are slated to perform) take the stage. But for someone like Drake, who is nominated in three categories including Best Rap Album for Take Care, the night proves to be not only a huge celebration but a good time to drop a new single. (At this point we’ll probably still be sitting on the couch though).

Drizzy fans can look forward to “Started From the Bottom,” which Billboard reported will be debut on February 10, the night of the 55th annual awards show. Expressing his excitement over what’s coming for Drake, Cash Money Records co-CEO Bryan “Birdman” Williams said: “This year we got something in store. We got a new record coming out this year. It's just one of those nights that, after seeing each other together, that'll be like the highlight of our night, the highlight of our life, the highlight of our year."

With a set date for the track release, will the song’s music video come out soon, too? Earlier this month, photos posted on Drake’s fan site, Word on Road, revealed the rapper on set in Toronto for what could possibly be a video for “Bottom.” He was shooting with Director X who also did his video for “HYFR,” which is getting a nod at the Grammy’s for Best Rap Performance.
