February might be the shortest month of the year, but Beyoncé is planning to make it super-sized. Queen B has just locked in another A-list gig for her already jam-packed February.
Vogue U.K. is reporting that the singer will take the stage at the Brit Awards on February 20. She’ll join other big-time acts like One Direction, Muse, Emeli Sande, Mumford & Sons and Robbie Williams.
“She’s among the best live pop acts on the planet and will have brand new material to play for the audience,” sources tell another British publication, The Sun, “The last time she played The Brits, nine years ago, was at the start of her solo career, singing ‘Crazy in Love.’ So it’s apt that she’s back this year.”
Ahead of that performance, she’s slated to perform for President Obama at his second inauguration on January 21. She’ll perform the National Anthem. Then she’s set to hit the stage at the Super Bowl on February 3. She’ll take the stage in New Orleans and in addition to playing brand new music off her 2013 album release; she will also reunite with Destiny’s Child, where they will play their comeback tune, “Nuclear.”
Not enough B for ya? Well, she’ll also be the subject of her very own HBO documentary, “Life Is But a Dream.” The special airs on the cable network on February 16 and will really give fans an inside look at her life—including a sonogram of the one and only BIC, or as us regular folks know her, Blue Ivy Carter.
Oh, yeah, let’s not forget she’s also expected to drop new music. Soon; like maybe even before the Super Bowl halftime show. And, with a slate of A-listers like Miguel, Pharrell, The-Dream, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z and Ne-Yo working with her, we kind of can’t wait to hear what she had planned for her 4 follow-up.
"Can't say. I can't say what kind of vibe. I can't. I can't give it away," Ne-Yo told us last month about the 2013 release. "I've been sworn to secrecy. Man, you're trying to get me into trouble. Come on! Jay-Z is not a person you want mad at you! I got to be quiet!"
