Kid Cudi Threatens Label Over Poor Radio Play

By Georgette Pierre

The Wizard, Kid Cudi wasn't too happy about his recent numbers not translating into radio spins. We know his music is a little bit different but that hasn't stopped Cudi's fans from supporting him. To make his point clear, he took to  Twitter to blast his label and his online presence not translating into more of his music being played.

"King Wizard 3.4 million views on Vevo, Just What I Am has 4.3 million and my shit is not on regular rotation on radio. Hmmm," he wrote, adding, "Trinidad James got 4.1 million views on his hit (rightfully so), and I hear that jam EVERYWHERE. Wheres my f---in spins???"

And we can't forget the label threat. "To my label, I swear to all that is f----n holy in this world, if things dont change soon, theres gonna be some problems."

"Yall kno I cuts no slack. Not w my music. Every song is my life. A piece of my f----n tormented soul. It matters to me. I give a f---." Kid Cudi isn't the first artist to get disgruntled with his label.

The Ohio native's new album Indicud is slated for a March release. Let's see if any changes come from his vent.
