Frank Ocean Has A Simple Explanation For Weed And Speeding Citations

Frank Ocean had a little run-in with the cops on New Year's Eve, being pulled over for speeding in his black BMW, with the car reeking of weed, but he has a perfectly simple explanation for the events of that evening.

Yesterday it was reported that cops pulled over the singer/songwriter around 4:30p.m. on December 31 for driving approximately 90 miles per hour in a 65 MPH zone, then noticed a "strong odor of marijuana." They found a small bag of marijuana in car and he was cited for a misdemeanor (bearing a maximum fine of $100) and also for driving on a suspended license and having tinted windows.

His license was revoked after the search, so his passenger was forced to drive him home, but no sweat. He took to Twitter yesterday to address the reports, writing, "hi guys, i smoke pot. ok guys, bye," then adding, "hi guys, i drive a m3. that bitch fast..ok guys, bye. :)"
