Angel Haze Directs Dis Track At Azealia Banks After Twitter Beef

By Sowmya Krishnamurthy

There's about to be a girl fight... Rappers Angel Haze and Azealia Banks took their distaste for each other on Twitter today, throwing massive jabs at each other. It seems to have started when Banks tweeted earlier today, "Seriously, if you were not born and raised in NY.... DON'T CLAIM NY. YOU ARE NOT A NEW YORKER," to which Angel took offense.

Update: Azealia Banks Responds To Angel Haze With Her Own Dis Track

The two exchanged words with Banks tweeting, "Angel Haze has a crush on me. Thats it. Case Closed" and Angel replying, "bitch, i dragged you....youre struggling to reach like your edges are.... stopppp @AZEALIABANKS."

Angel's manager chimed in with, "Angel didnt start this sh-t.... mermaid asked for this.. theres more to it than tweets," leading many to believe that the beef has been ongoing.

Hours after the first tweets were fired, Angel dropped a diss track dubbed "On The Edge" in which she lyrically takes on Banks. Over a beat laced with a line from The Notorious B.I.G.'s "Running Your Mouth," Angels raps, "I'm busy killing these bitches" and "I'm the only one you ain't tweet!"

She also throws disses against Banks' "Succubi" track and says that producer Missy Elliott was "scared" to work with Banks. "I think my album is more done than yours...and I just started a week ago," taunts Angel at the end.

"YOU WANT THE P---Y SOOOO BADDDDDD @ANGELHAZELOLOL..this diss track is not even hot!!! lmfaooooooooooo !!!!!!" Banks laughed about the song. The war of words rages on.
