Since he dropped his unforgettable debut From Me to U, Juelz Santana has earned himself a place among hip-hop's top lyricists, but his relationship with Cam'ron, Jim Jones and the Diplomats and the delay on his third solo album Born to Lose, Built to Win leaves a lot of unanswered questions. It's not every day that Juelz grants an interview, but on Wednesday, he will sit down with Sway on "RapFix Live" to give an exclusive interview and drop some big news about what he has coming in 2013.
Last time we had Santana on the "RapFix" couch, in June 2011, he spoke about the Dips' reunion, his solo career and the legal roadblocks that he has faced through the years, and on Wednesday he will update fans on all of that as well.
That's not all. Atlanta's newest rap sensation, Trinidad James, will also be making his way to "RapFix Live" for the first time. James made a hell of a splash with his breakout single and video "All Gold Everything" in October. Already the video has garnered more than 1.7 million views on YouTube and cracked rotation on MTV2, MTV Jams and a number of radio outlets. In November, rap veteran Big Boi spoke to MTV2's "The Week in Jams" and labeled James "real A-Town."
Not much is known about the funky-styled rap rookie, but his debut mixtape Don't Be S.A.F.E. has thrilled critics and fans alike thanks to James' free-wheeling delivery and humorous rhyme intonations. Tracks like "Tonk For the Money," "Females Welcomed" and "Gold on My MacBook" are quickly becoming fan favorites, and on Wednesday, Trinidad's faith flock can check out "RapFix" to learn more about the hip-hop upstart.
