Rihanna continues to live up to her "good girl gone bad" title. Earlier today, the superstar singer posted a photo of herself wearing Chanel and what appeared to be her rolling and licking a very very large blunt with the caption "thuglife" and she also shared the artwork, for what might be her next single.
The superstar also posted a photo to her Instagram yesterday with the song title "Pour It Up" and what appeared to be single artwork. In it, the singer is topless, looking forlornly while covering her mouth with a $1 bill. Fans quickly showed their support for the racy image. "You're GORGEOUS!!!" shared one on Instagram while another added, "Beauty is her name."
Unlike her ardent fans, Unapologetic has garnered mixed reviews from critics ranging from a "breath of cool, nourishing air" to likening it to "fast food." The album still managed to shine sales wise and helped Rihanna snag her first #1 debut on the Billboard 200 Albums chart with first week sales of 238,000 copies.
“We are so proud and happy to deliver Rihanna her first #1 album in the U.S.,” said Steve Bartels, President and COO of the Island Def Jam Music Group in a press release. “The team here really pulled together and gave this project their all. Along with our partners at Roc Nation, the IDJ family has always fought to solidify Rihanna’s place atop the pop landscape."
