50 Cent’s Street King Immortal album has seen quite a few delays, but the LP’s new February 26 release date will be sticking. Fif confirms that he plans to drop the album in time to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of his breakout Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ which was released in February 2003.
“Hold me to the greater quality,” 50 has advised fans, who will be ready to compare the two albums. “Don’t hold me to the exact content, don’t hold me to the production, don’t play both albums next to each other and say, ’Which track do I like better?’ ”
“Just listen to the actual project itself and you’ll see the growth and how I’m seasoned,” he told MTV News. “I’m 10 years in now. I’m not under any circumstances in a position that I’m not comfortable or able to function in any area of entertainment at this point.”
