Nicki Minaj Isn't Feeling Steven Tyler's 'Racist' American Idol Comments

Nicki Minaj is going to give "American Idol" a ratings boost that producers could've never imagined when they initially recruited her. Just as her feud with Mariah Carey is finally dying down, the YMCMB rapper felt compelled to lash out at former judge Steven Tyler for a jab she felt was "racist".

Last week, Tyler had some less than flattering words about the new judges, when he told MTV News that if a musician like Bob Dylan appeared to audition on the show's current season, Nicki Minaj probably "would have sent him to the cornfield." Yikes. He had to know what was coming.

Nicki hit Twitter to let Tyler have it, and she took the opportunity to put Barbara Walters on blast again. "You assume that I wouldn't have liked Bob Dylan? Why? Black? Rapper? What? Go f--- yourself and worry about yourself babe," she wrote in one message, adding : "I understand you really wanted to keep your job but take that up with the producers. I haven't done anything to you. That's a racist comment."

"Let's make him a shirt that says 'No Coloreds Allowed,' then escort him down [to] Barbara Walters so he can tell how he was threatened [with] guns. When Steven [first] went on 'Idol' he was ridiculed by his peers & fans alike."
