Last last month, Lil Wayne's private jet was forced to make an emergency landing in Texas after he reportedly suffered from seizure-like symptoms on board, but Nicki Minaj says she was never too worried about Wayne since he's surrounded by people who have his best interests at heart.
"He said he was OK," Nicki Minaj told MTV News of her conversation with Wayne after the incident.
"I know they didn't want him to fly. Everybody that's around him is taking care of him. Wayne has so many people around him that truly, genuinely love him. I'm not worried at all," she added. "Even him being on the plane, thank God that there was somebody there right away that was able to help him. I'm just thankful that he was OK."
Wayne himself took to Twitter to let fans know that he was fine, writing, "Thanx for all prayers! I am good." His upcoming album I Am Not a Human Being II, which was recently set to debut in December has now been postponed until early 2013.
