The Weeknd Regrets A Past Love On 'Twenty Eight'

By Miranda Johnson

With his studio debut Trilogy just a week away, the Weeknd delivers “Twenty Eight," a cautionary love song. The track is one of the newer singles off of the Toronto native’s November 13 album, which includes features from Juicy J and Drake.

“I’m so wrong, I’m so wrong, to let you in my home. Now you know where I sleep (never felt so damn weak)," belts the Weeknd throughout the chorus. Continuing on the second verse with, "Hey there lonely girl, did you have to tell your friends about the way I got you screaming my name? Did you have to tell the world?"

His upcoming album Trilogy is a three-disc set composed mostly of remastered versions of his previous releases, House of Balloons and Thursday and Echoes of Silence. Also expect the addition of a few new cuts titled "Valerie" and "Til Dawn." Rapper Juicy J will also appear on the LP rapping on "Same Old Song" while his OVOXO fam, Drake is slated to add in a few bars on "The Zone" .
