Kanye West Heads Up 'Hip Hop Illuminati' On 'The Cleveland Show'

By Victoria McCarthy

A new secret society was exposed on Sunday night’s (November 4) episode of Fox’s “The Cleveland Show,”and it’s not the Illuminati Dan Brown talked so much about. Seth MacFarlane and company revealed who the real puppeteers of pop culture are: "The Hip Hop Illuminati." This brotherhood of sorts found its leader in non eother than Kenny West, a clear reference to G.O.O.D. Music founder Kanye West, as well as Nicki Minaj, Bruno Mars, ?uestlove, and will.i.am.

The episode, entitled “Menace II Secret Society," playing on the 1993 film of nearly the same name, revolves around Cleveland’s accidental discovery of the Illuminati, which does, to viewer’s delight, involve an ostrich suit. However, little to Kenny West’s knowledge, the rest of his clique (so to speak) get sick and tired of his ego-mania , as will.i.am notes saying “His ego got out of control, and this is coming from rappers.”

Desperate they ask for Cleveland’s help in a Kenny West coup d’etat by tarnishing his career polka-style. Is it the end of Kenny West’s time on the throne of pop-culture imperialism? We shall see.
