We all have those friends who like to stretch their birthdays out into a week-long (or even month-long) celebration, but Swizz Beatz is taking it a step further for his new single "Everyday Birthday" with Chris Brown and Ludacris. The new track was released on Friday, and the video will premiere on Sunday at 11 a.m. ET on MTV 2's 'Week in Jams.
No telling if Swizzy's 365-day soiree will catch on, but the track's guest stars, and , already seem to be onboard.
"Every day is your birthday/ Now hit the floor," Swizz chants at the top of the riot-starting song.
For the track's rambunctious instrumental, Swizz uses Quincy Jones' theme for the 1960s television police drama "Ironside" as inspiration. That and a pounding bass drum is enough to set a rapping Chris Brown off as he spits: "Whatchu think you doin' in here/ Girl, I got 100 bottles of that rosé/ Hoes, they always be in my ear."
Repeated instructions to "dance like a white girl" should pique interest for the video, which is set to premiere on MTV2's "Week in Jams" at 11 a.m. ET on Sunday. Already, Swizz teased the clip on Instagram, sending a pic of himself, Breezy and Luda in the middle of the dance floor while ladies wave their arms behind them.
Swizz has been busy in the studio lately and has even signed on to executive produce the LOX's long-delayed third LP, MTV News has learned. "The last meeting I had was with Swizz and [DJ] Khaled, and they're executive producing this new LOX album," Sheek Louch told MTV News last month.
