It’s not farfetched to assume that Drake, who started celebrating his October 24 birthday early with 2 Chainz at Howard University's homecoming weekend, will want the same thing Tity Two Necklaces longs for in the single, “Birthday Song.”
But big booties aside, the rapper born Aubrey Graham, wants his fans to come along for the ride judging by the tweet he sent out to his nine million followers proclaiming that his 26th birthday festivities would start last weekend in D.C.: “My early birthday celebration @Parkat14th in DC tomorrow night!”
Students and concert-goers who came out to see Tauheed Epps erupted and almost started a riot when Drizzy hit the stage with the former member of Playaz Circle but cooler heads prevailed and the show marched on.
Drake has rapped about luxuries ranging from Rolexes to Rolls Royce Phantoms in his lyrics, so there’s no predicting what kind of otherworldly gifts the Toronto spitter will receive, but the tweets are already pouring in for the OVO front man from the likes of fellow Canadian recording artist The Weeknd, who tweeted: “happy born day drizzy @Drake."
Abel Tesfaye’s tweet was retweeted over 4500 times as fans showed their support for the Young Money MC.
Judging by his retweet of @Kenzumm’s tweet, "I’m living…for a living," on the eve of his born day, the man who made YOLO one of the most recited acronyms of the year plans to really live it up today and celebrate his many accomplishments since last year, which include the numerous guest verses he knocked out of the park on Rick Ross’ “Stay Schemin,” French Montana’s “Pop That” and the recently released collaboration with Kendrick Lamar “Poetic Justice.”
