Jay-Z kicked off his historic series of shows at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on Friday night (September 28) and the crowd that flocked to the new arena on Atlantic Avenue was certainly a fashionable one. Fans took their wardrobe choices seriously, sporting everything from skintight dresses with stilettos, fitted sweaters with bowties and Adidas track jackets accented with Brooklyn Nets fitted caps.
Reppin' for your team with a little bit of flare isn't too difficult if you know how to do it right. A sleevelees Deron Williams tee complimented with skintight black leggings adorned with skulls? Not a bad way to go about it.
Jay-Z closed out the show last night with his Blueprint III single "Young Forever," telling the crowd that they all had the potential to tap into genius-level talent if they just tried. "I ain't no mother----in' different from anybody here tonight," he exclaimed, "and I'm standing on this stage." We're not sure how many of those fans in attendance will eventually tap into their mogul skills, but as for fashion, they had it covered.
