After originally penning Whitney Houston’s hit ballad "I Look To You," R. Kelly now presents fans with a duet version of the uplifting track featuring himself. The remixed version is now available on iTunes and will also appear on Whitney’s latest album due out this fall.
Kelly sang the 2009 gospel-inspired cut at Houston's funeral earlier this year, and now he's mixed his version of the song with Whitney's as a tribute to the late icon. The duet version of "I Look To You" will appear on I Will Always Love You, the latest Houston greatest hits album dropping November 13. I Will Always Love You will include a compilation of Whitney’s chart topping hits and an unreleased Whitney Houston song titled "Never Give Up." Listen to it here.
Aside from this duet and his recent appearance on G.O.O.D. Music's Cruel Summer album, R. Kelly may soon be linking with Trey Songz on a duet as well. Trey recently gushed to MTV News, explaining how much of an influence the Pied Piper has been on his career, after the two previously had some issues with each other. "I love R. Kelly. He recently said that he would love to work with me, said that he's a fan of mine and that's very special to me," Trey told MTV News. "I can't really explain how much that means to me. He's been an influencer and an idol for me for a long time. We had our differences and right now we're in a great place. No matter how well I do, [R. Kelly] is the king forever in my eyes."
