This week Mike Tyson proved that he’s not only a champion in the boxing ring but also on the Broadway stage. His Superstar friends like 50 cent and Kanye West, among others, came out to support Tyson’s Broadway debut in “Undisputed Truth,” a one-man show directed by none other than Spike Lee.
In the 90-minute show, Tyson talks candidly about everything from his exes to his drug addiction and the show has been described as somewhat of a confessional. Iron Mike is already earning praise for his performance in the Twitter-sphere. Lee proudly tweeted about Tyson’s “2 standing ovations for 1st preview tonight” and 50 cent also gave Mike’s performance two thumbs up, tweeting, “I was crying he was so funny. if your not a regular broadway play fan you still have to go see it.”
“Undisputed Truth” officially opens Thursday night (August 2) at the Longacre Theatre in NYC, and Spike Lee's new film "Red Hook Summer" is set to hit theaters on August 10.
