Odd Future Preps New Albums And Massive Fall Tour

By Carter Maness

Odd Future Records, the umbrella imprint for the infamous Los Angeles-based hip-hop collective, is set for a very busy finish to 2012. In addition to the smash success of Frank Ocean's Channel Orange and an upcoming mixtape that finds Domo Genesis collaborating with Alchemist, both Mellowhype and Tyler, The Creator have new albums on the way this fall and the whole collective will embark on a tour throughout September.

Domo's new one, No Idols, got previewed with its first single yesterday, the Earl Sweatshirt, Vince Staples and Action Bronson-featuring "Elimination Chamber." The full effort drops August 1 and coincides with the rapper joining The Internet for a series of August shows throughout the East Coast.

On October 2, Mellowhype, the duo of Left Brain and Hodgy Beats, return with their second LP Numbers, while the label's hardcore band Trash Talk will pummel with their 119 LP the following week. Finally, Odd Future's defacto leader Tyler, The Creator will follow-up 2011's divisive Goblin with Wolf in November.
