The 11-year-old and a 15-year-old girl friend were riding the inner tube on the lake when a 38-year-old man riding jet skis struck them, hitting Glover in the head. He was unresponsive at the scene, and was airlifted to Egelston Hospital where he remains in critical condition. The girl, who was also transported to the hospital immediately, received a cut on a head and treatment for a broken arm.

Several celebrities have sent best wishes to the family via Twitter, including Questlove who wrote, “wishing @TamekaRaymond's son godspeed recovery. horrible news to hear.” Atlanta's 11 Alive reports that it's too early for cops to tell whether or not charges will be filed.

Usher and his ex-wife have been going through a very public and messy divorce, but that will likely take a backseat after this unfortunate incident.
