As attention around the alleged nightclub brawl between Chris Brown and Drake swells, Brown sent a slew of angry tweets yesterday blasting the press, and TMZ in particular, of its portrayal of him.

According to Global Grind, Breezy tweeted a number of angry sentiments directed at what he believes to be the media's inaccuracies and biases. "The media will always try to slam dunk!!! But I win my games with layups! Godbless! #knowyourfacts" he tweeted along with "It's really sad! All y'all in that office sit behind a desk and hide behind ur lives by trying to tarnish others! Good game!"

Brown had a special gripe against gossip hub TMZ, which has posted several round-the-clock updates for the altercation: "@tmz y'all full of sh--!!! It's insane how your stories are not informative at all and far from fucking facts!"

The fight took place on June 14 at New York nightclub W.i.P. during which several anonymous witnesses reportedly told TMZ that a member of Brown's crew, "was throwing gang signs and screaming at Drake's table." Witnesses claimed that the dreadlocked man was the "primary instigator" of the brawl, claiming he verbally attacked Drake's table and yelled out, "somebody's gonna die." He also later allegedly threatened rapper Meek Mill, whose involvement remains unknown, saying, "F--- you, we're gonna kill you n---a." The brawl that ensued involved thrown liquor bottles and punches that left five injured. Chris sustained a bruise on his chin and his bodyguard, Big Pat, was seriously injured.

Many are speculating that the root of the argument stems from Chris and Drake's separate romantic relationships with singer Rihanna.

On Friday (June 15), a spokesperson for the New York nightclub W.i.P. told MTV News that club management had turned over to police investigators its video footage of the melee. An NYPD spokesperson confirmed that the videotape had been turned over and that police were reviewing it as part of their investigation. This video footage has reportedly been deemed useless as faces can not be made out due to darkness. Brown has given a separate statement to NYPD investigators and unnamed law enforcement sources told TMZ that his celebrity lawyer, Mark Geragos, has handed over unspecified "physical evidence" that allegedly implicates Drake in the fight.

Drake says that he wasn't involved because he was exiting the club at the time the fight broke out. Drake's rep issued a statement on his behalf, telling TMZ, "Drake did not participate in any wrongdoing of any kind last night at W.I.P. He was on his way out of the club when the altercation began. [Drake] did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property."

No arrests have been made.
