Even with the release of his recent Macadelic mixtape, Mac Miller is already gearing up to release another batch of rhythmic madness on an upcoming EP titled Pink Slime with Pharrell. This time the Pittsburgh MC linked with the legendary Skateboard P for the project, which will be a collaboration effort between the two artists.
On Monday the "Donald Trump" rapper took to Twitter to unveil the news to fans, tweeting that he and Pharrell have a project called Pink Slime lined up for release. Mac didn’t reveal too much about the EP but he tempted fans with a possible taste, if they were able to get the phrase #pinkslime trending on Twitter.
First mac posted “Pink Slime = Mac Miller x Pharrell," then teased “can yall please get #pinkslime trending so me and pharrell can drop this song?”
Even with all the success coming his way, the Blue Slide Park MC still remains grounded as he also serves as a mentor to up and coming rappers. Mac and his producer E. Dan recently linked up with aspiring MC Bobby Stewart, a.k.a. Yung Ka, who is suffering from a form of cancer called T-cell lymphoma. Ka and Miller first met in 2011 after the rapper presented the Make-A-Wish Foundation with a check for $50,000 and the two have grown a budding friendship as Mac continues to show him the ropes around the studio.
