Rick Ross & Meek Mill - 'Black Magic' (Self Made Vol. 2)

By Adrian Prelvukaj

While "Black Magic" might usually point to some form of trickery or illusion, Rick Ross' new song title is in reference to the way the Miami rapper goes about spending his big bills, as he spits, "POOF! There go the car, POOF! There go the crib, POOF! A hundred mill, David Copperfield."

On this one, Rozay takes full control of the track's chorus and he taps his MMG recruit Meek Mill to serve up the verses. Meek, who's still thriving off the success of Dreamchasers 2 , which dropped in May, uses his trademark "rapid-fire" flow on "Black Magic," reminding us why Rick Ross signed the dreamchaser back in early 2011.

"Black Magic" premiered Thursday night (May 31) on NYC's Hot 97 radio station with Funk Flex's infamous bombs constantly being dropped, hinting that this could be a street anthem for the summer. With the lingering buzz from "Bag of Money" and Self Made Vol. 2 set to drop on June 26th,  it's looking like another Maybach Music summer.
