Jay-Z Headlining Philadelphia 'Made in America' Music Festival

Jay-Z will have his plate full in the coming weeks. Besides having a baby daughter to care for the mogul kicks off the Eruopean dates for his Watch the Throne tour with Kanye West later this month, but on Monday (May 14) he held a press conference in Philadelphia to announce that he would be curating and starring in a two-day music festival in the city.

During the brief conference Jay confirmed that he will headlining the first Budweiser Made in America music festival, which will be held at Fairmount Park in Philadelphia on Sept. 1 and Sept. 2. The show will boast up to 28 musical guests and it will be helmed by Live Nation. Jay made the announce in conjunction with Philadelphia mayor Michael A. Nutter. The event is expected to feature a variety of entertainers across “rock, hip-hop, R&B, Latin and dance."

Tickets for the festival will be available through  ticketmaster.com and livenation.com on May 23. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.
