Chief Keef And Fat Trel Drop 'Russian Roulette'

By Carter Maness

The menacing hip-hop from 16-year-old Chicago rapper Chief Keef has been turning heads lately. Now, after the remix to his hit "I Don't Like" by Kanye West along with Pusha T, Big Sean and NYC veteran Jadakiss, Keef has finally dropped a new song. Featuring Washington D.C. tough guy Fat Trel, "Russian Roulette" would fit right at home on both mainstream radio and the streets.

Getting To Know: Chicago Rapper Chief Keef

The track is based around a gigantic, twinkling, trunk-rattling beat by producer Lex Luger and first surfaced on the Internet last week as an incomplete demo. The upstart rapper is still being heavily pursued by multiple labels. At least publicly, Cash Money appears to be the leading contender right now.

"I like him, he kinda reminds me of us," Birdman recently told MTV's Sway Calloway, referencing his all-star YMCMB team. "[He's] out the streets, I think he's swagged up and I'm definitely talking to his people and I'd like to see if we can make it pop, see if I can see if I can get him to be down with the team."
