'I Don’t Like' Producer Young Chop Resolves Issues With Kanye West

Looks like the recent rift between Kanye West and producer Young Chop has been patched up. The 18-year-old producer, who is the original composer of Cheif Keef’s “I Don’t Like” was upset when West premiered his remix last week, but now he's was singing a completely different tune.

On Monday (May 7) Chop called up Chicago DJ Moon Dawg for the second time, confirming that Kanye West reached out to him after releasing the song's remix. "I'm good now," Chop said, of his situation with Kanye West, adding that he couldn't reveal what they spoke about--"nah we can't speak on that."

The beef started almost immediately after the release Chief Keef's "I Don't Like (Remix),” when Chop phoned DJ Moon Dawg furiously yelling, “I’m mad as hell, I’m mad as f--k ‘cause for the simple fact that they did not ask me to change up sh-- in my beat." The “they” target was indeed Yeezy who is the one responsible for the new bells and whistles added to the tune.

The G.O.O.D. Music remix features Kanye West, Pusha T, Big Sean, Jadakiss and Keef himself. The song is looking like it will definitely be a summer favorite among fans. However the video for the original “I Don’t Like” has already cracked over two million views on YouTube and is largely responsible for the growing buzz that has been surrounding Keef the past few months.
