Singer, dancer, and artist? Chris Brown has been taking time away from his various music video sets and recording studios to attend a very different kind of studio lately-an art studio. Adding to his already expansive resume, Breezy has been dabbling in the art world since 2011 with his F.A.M.E. album cover- and last night the Grammy Award winner had his first ever gallery exhibit with the legendary artist Ron English.
The duo even worked on a piece live during the showing at the Corey Helford Gallery in Los Angeles.
But that’s not all the 22-year-old was unveiling. In addition to presenting his new art work, he announced the launch of a new toy collection. They stopped by the TAG store in Hollywood before the opening to sign some of their newly released pieces from their collection called “Dum English,” and the kids loved it.
From Jay-Z and his coffee book to Kanye West and his sneakers, these days’ heavy hitting music industry folk are experimenting with their creativity in more and more unconventional ways. With Brown’s fourth studio album Fortune due out this summer, we don’t see him slowing down with his music any time soon. That being the case, we can’t wait to see what else Breezy’s artistic experimentation will create.
