Exclusive Preview: Odd Future Spoofs 'Miami Vice' On 'Loiter Squad'

By Terri Schwartz

Odd Future has been dominating the Adult Swim nighttime programming block with their new show "Loiter Squad," and they're taking their sketches to a whole new level. MTV's RapFix has landed an exclusive clip from the show in which OFWGKTA spoofs the hit 1980s TV show "Miami Vice."

Tyler, The Creator And Lana Del Rey Collaboration On The Way?

We wouldn't expect any less from these guys than seeing Tyler the Creator sport white face to play "Dong" Johnson's character Crockett while L-Boy plays his partner, Tubbs, and Taco portrays their lieutenant, Castillo. Though only the beginning of the sketch is teased, we can guess that the guys get into plenty of trouble on the beaches of "Miami" (it looks a lot like Venice Beach, Calif. to us).

"Loiter Squad" premiered on Cartoon Network on March 25, and it's been getting great ratings ever since. Its 15-minute long episodes are comprised of sketches, man-on-the-street segments and OF original music. If this seems to be similar to a certain other group of pranksters made famous on MTV, then that's because "Loiter Squad" and "Jackass" come from the same producers. The Wolf Gang hooked up with the guys at Dickhouse Productions to create their comedy show.

"When we went to Cartoon Network, they contacted [Dickhouse] to do the show for us," L-Boy said during a recent episode of "RapFix Live". Jasper Dolphin added, "I love working with the 'Jackass' crew just fun all day."

"Loiter Squad" airs every Sunday night at 11:30 p.m. on Adult Swim.
