LeBron James Defeats New York Knicks, Jay-Z And J. Cole Lead A$AP Mob In Hip-Hop Playoffs

The King ruled the court today when LeBron James dropped 32 in a decisive Miami Heat victory over the New York Knicks. The game between the NBA Eastern conference rivals was hotly contested to start, but quickly turned into a good old fashion blow-out leading to a 100-67 Miami game one win.

The Knicks’ two stars Carmelo Anthony and Amar’e Stoudemire only scored a combined 20 points as the Heat cruised to an easy victory forcing twenty seven NY turnovers on the defensive end.

In the MTV News Hip-Hop Playoffs Jay-Z’s #2 Swagged Out Conference seeded Roc Nation crew are having a Heat-like performance, dominating A$AP Rocky’s A$AP Mob earning 80% of the fan vote. The Roc Boys had a hell of a year thanks to Hov’s contributions on he and Kanye West’s Watch the Throne LP and J. Cole’s #1 debut album. While the A$AP Mob are no doubt the new kids on the block, they’ve taken the rap world by storm and restored faith in New York’s hip-hop fanatics, much like the Knicks who have restored faith in the NY sports community.

Both the Heat/Knicks and Roc/A$AP round one series’ are far from over, but if things keep going as they went today, it could be over pretty quickly.
