Derrick Rose Injured In Bulls Win, Rick Ross And MMG Dominate Hip-Hop Playoffs

Nobody said it’ll be easy for the Philadelphia Sixers. The scrappy squad led by Andre Iguodala and Jrue Holiday didn’t fair well against the #1 NBA Eastern conference seed Chicago Bulls, but it’s going to be a long series.

Derrick Rose dropped 23 points leading all scorers in a 103-91 Game one win, but left the game with an apparent knee injury with 1:10 left in the fourth quarter. Rose also contributed nine rebounds and nine assists in a near triple double, still if he is forced to miss any games this series can take a dramatic turn.

In the MTV News Hip-Hop Playoffs Rick Ross’ #1 seeded Maybach Music Group is currently dominating Jadakiss and Styles P of D-Block. It’s been a quiet year for the once dominant D-Block crew, but mixtape releases of Styles and Jada will always keep them in rap’s best crew debate. On Friday Kiss dropped his Consignment mixtape and once again proved why he is one of the game’s greatest talents.

Still it is Rozay, Wale, Meek Mill and company who lead the Hip-Hop Playoffs first round match-up in the Swagged Out conference gaining 88% of the vote thus far.
