Chris Brown Releases Slowed Down ‘Strip’ Remix

By Kevin Lavi

With less than a month remaining until the release of Chris Brown’s highly anticipated fifth studio album, Fortune, Breezy is letting fans hear quite a bit of his music weeks in advance. Brown recently released “Strip," an original track featuring Kevin McCall, which will appear on his new album. And today Breezy released the remix to “Strip”. The remix sounds very similar to  the original, with the same lyrics being rapped by both artists. The only difference in that the remix has a slowed down beat. The original version of the song sounds like a club banger, this version however was clearly meant for the bedroom.

“Strip” isn’t the first song Chris has released from his upcoming album Fortune. The first single for Fortune has been out since early February, and it doesn’t stop there. Just one week ago Chris released ”Sweet Love” a pure R&B song soon to be another single off of Fortune.

Chris also announced the upcoming release for his next single “Till I Die” which will feature Big Sean and Wiz Khalifa. According to Chris, the song will have more of a rap angle. Recently he's made a few guest appearances on other singles alongside Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj, and Lil Wayne on “Take It To The Head,” the hot new single by DJ Khaled. Breezy also makes an appearance on Nicki Minaj’s highly anticipated sophomore album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded on the song “Right By My Side.”

Fortune has a May 4 release date, but with the way things are going expect Chris to continue leaking tracks as we get closer to release.
