Nicki Minaj hit the "American Idol" stage on Thursday night (March 29) to perform her single“Starships.” Nicki, in a revealing low-cut dress (which, no doubt made censors nervous), bounced around, joined by a gaggle of energetic dancers. The roaring crowd went crazy for the inspirational number, which ended on the note of a full-out dance party.

Following her performance, Nicki gushed to host Ryan Seacrest on how much fun she's having. “I’m having an amazing time. I’d like to thank you guys, the world, all the Barbz. I love you so much Barbz!” Minaj then shared that she wanted to be a guest judge soon and added “J. Lo can you scoot over a little bit?” Judge Randy Jackson seemed welcoming but neither Steven Tyler nor Jennifer Lopez looked too thrilled. “I don’t know if there’s enough room for both of us up here!” Lopez said somewhat playfully. Shots fired?

Nicki’s new album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded officially debuts on April 3.
