DJ Khaled Taps Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown For 'Take It To The Head'

DJ Khaled calls on his gaggle of famous friends for his new single "Take It To The Head." From Khaled's upcoming album, Kiss The Ring, the song released yesterday (March 26) features a veritable who's who of hip-hop with guest vocals from Rick Ross, Chris Brown and fellow Cash Money family members Nicki Minaj and Lil' Wayne.  Produced by The Runners (the duo behind Rick Ross' "Hustlin," Jeezy's "Go Getta," and Khaled's "Out Here Grindin" among a slew of other well-known tracks), the mid-tempo song is steeped in getting drunk or taking alcohol "to the head."

"Now we gonna get fucked up/No excuses, no apologies," Chris sings.

Nicki and Chris took to Twitter to promote the song and Khaled went on a retweeting spree to push out the hashtag #takeittothehead yesterday. According to The Runners' Twitter, Kevin Cossom penned the song's hook. Writer/singer/producer Cossom is no stranger to the all-star line-up and has worked with Rick Ross, Khaled, Wayne, and Chris Brown on previous material.

Aside from making and Tweeting his music, DJ Khaled was spotted earlier this month on the set of Drake's new video "HYFR" in Miami. Khaled joined a group of cameos including Lil' Wayne (who has a guest verse on the song), Trey Songz and Birdman for the upcoming bar mitzvah-themed visual.

Kiss The Ring  is slated for release this year.
