Justin Bieber Talks Rapping In 'Complex' Cover Story

Justin Bieber covers the April/May issue of Complex magazine looking a bit worse for the wear, after taking a few punches during his photo shoot, but inside the 18-year-old proves that everything else is definitely in tact. In addition to chatting about his girlfriend Selena Gomez and his childhood, Biebs also taking about his upcoming album Believe, confirming that we will find him rapping on the project.

Rappers such as Drake and Kanye West are already rumored to be on the album and Bieber told Complex that he's also trying to lock down features from artists like Mike Posner. Over the past few months, Bieber has continued to drop a few freestyles during appearances on radio shows and the Canadian sensation says that he simply enjoys doing it.

"I just rap for fun; it's nothing to take seriously," Bieber admits. "On my new album, I'm going to do a little bit of rapping," he adds before giving a preview of a few lines from "Boyfriend." "Tell me what you like, dear/ Tell me what you don't/ I could be your Buzz Lightyear/ Fly across the globe/ You don't even need to fight, dear/ You already know/ I can make you shine bright/ Like you're laying in the snow, burr," he raps.
